COPYWRITING that CONVERTS
Another great love of mine is storytelling.
With a background in PR, advertising and journalism, I strongly believe that everyone (and every brand) has a story, you just have to ask the right questions.
Engaging copy, whether it’s your brand guidelines, a website or packaging, is an opportunity to connect with your reader. And connection is one of the greatest forms of social currency for your business.
If you have a story to tell but need a little help with the words, I can help.
For the past 8 years, I’ve been the Assistant Editor for The Weekend Edition Gold Coast. In that role, I primarily preside over the food news, which means visiting (and sampling) a lot of restaurants (don’t ask me what my favourite restaurant on the Gold Coast is unless you are prepared for 50 follow-up questions).
Beyond food, I can write SEO-driven listicles, destination and travel stories, experience and adventure or design.

Take a peek at Burleigh’s new design-led creative space Sun House Studio
On the whole, working from home is great. The lack of any kind of daily commute, the ability to sneak a siesta at lunchtime and wearing pyjamas all day are pretty high up there on the list of perks. The pitfall, of which there is really only one, is that it can be pretty lonely at times.
