Heart-felt MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY on the GOLD COAST
No amount of ‘What to Expect’ books will adequately prepare you for the changes that come with pregnancy. Not only the physical changes, but the emotional ones too. Your heart is as full as your belly (and bladder). There’s something so magical about pregnancy photography sessions that make my heart sing. It’s a season to cherish and remember (trust me on that).
My maternity style revolves around capturing the natural beauty and authentic interactions, whether it’s mama-to-be on her own, with a partner or with other children. It’s a moment to pause and enjoy this fleeting chapter.
Personally, I never had professional maternity photos taken as I never felt particularly radiant. Truth be told, I was a sweaty mess for the vast majority of the 40-plus weeks. I can tell you right now, hand on heart, I regret it.
Growing a human is a special kind of magic and if you take anything at all from my experience, let it be this – it’s over too soon. Sure, you may not feel much like traipsing around in a field or posing on a beach, and that’s okay. We can tailor your session to suit you.
We can do it at home if that’s where you will feel most comfortable, or, if you’re up for a stroll, we can head to a beach for a dip, or a walk amongst nature. It doesn’t have to be a big, uncomfortable ordeal. It’s just us, hanging out and taking some snaps that one day, I hope you look back on and think ‘I’m glad we did.’
Your future self will thank you.
Creating timeless images for you to have and hold for when the memories fade.
I'm truly grateful to Jade for the wonderful memories captured at my pregnancy shoot. As a mama herself, Jade gets it! She understands that this precious pocket of time is also your most vulnerable – and her warmth and professionalism (and ability to make you have a good ol' belly laugh) makes you feel so comfortable in your skin. Jade captured a version of me that I never knew existed.

next steps
one: get in touch
Get in touch via the contact form with the type of session you’re looking to book and a rough timeframe. I will do a little happy dance and get back to you with some available dates.
two: book
If one of those dates aligns with your plans, you can pay your non-refundable booking fee to secure your spot. After you’ve got your date, I will send you a session agreement and questionnaire to help me get to know you and your family.
three: plan & prep
The fun begins – we decide upon a location and schedule a time to chat about outfits and what to expect on the day. One week before, the remaining invoice is due while I obsessively check weather apps (multiple) and pray to the weather gods
four: shoot day
Today is the day! I’ll probably hug you, consider yourself warned. During the shoot, I will offer some gentle guidance, but you do you! Take a breath, enjoy the moment with your people, embrace the chaos and be yourselves.
five: delivery
Roughly two weeks after your session you will receive an online gallery of images. Depending on the package you’ve chosen, you can make yourself a coffee (or margarita) and choose your favourites.
six: download & print
I’ll do a final edit and resend your selections. You can download the images in web resolution (for sharing on social media) as well as high resolution (for printing).
